Tyrannical is officially announced!

If you haven’t seen it yet go back to our introduction video on the main page to check it out. I have been busy drawing, looking for print partners, and preparing for our first kickstarter launching 9-1-2024! This has been a fulfilling time in my life as far as creativity goes. On the professional side of the equation it gets hairy. It seems the information technology field has imploded on itself. It has been very challenging on me to find work, but I have hope. I know I’m not the only one. Don’t listen to certain politicians who claim job growth is better than pre pandemic growth. While it may be true for blue collar or low wage jobs. People who are skilled or learned a trade are having more trouble than ever to find work. This is not good. The rapid introduction of AI is one part of the equation, but AI is definitely not the only factor. Greed is a major one. I was laid off work while the giant mega corp I worked for was experiencing record growth as they called it. Any way I’m getting off topic. Basically i don’t know where Tyrannical will lead from this point. I won’t lie to you i do hope to see some sort of future built off of this, BUT as long as im alive it will NEVER become some huge mega corporation. There is one problem that I think many corps overlook, and that is their business will always find a plateau, and what that means for all of them is, OOF no more growth. I will not allow myself to become some corporate zombie again. But i risk digressing again. At this point Tyrannical is the start of some dream that I have always had. And now it’s closer then ever to being a reality, and it’s scary. It could 100% go the other way and no one will even give it a cursory glance. We are in a recession after all. I don’t care what economists call it. Record inflation and thousands of white collar jobs being cut. That is a recession. There I go again. Anyway what I want is to bring people together through card and board games. I would love to see my sons have a future sharing experiences with their kids if they have any. And I would love to see people from all walks of life coming together to enjoy our games. This is just the beginning, let’s hope that people will take notice! What I have built here is something that one or two people should be able to easily manage. We don’t have any production overhead because we found what I think will be a terrific printing partner in Superior POD. The POD stands for print on demand. That means I don’t have print thousands of copies of games and just have them sitting somewhere. If you want a copy of the game you can just buy it from our website, and BOOM! They print and ship the product straight to you! This solves a huge problem for me from the start. I was worried about having to print the game, find a place to store them, and it was bothersome. Not to worry. Superior has the highest quality I have found of any other printer in the business. And we continue to work on this process and streamline it. Plus I love that they are a small family owned company right here in the USA. No corporate schilling, but they also have to reach to ship anywhere as well! Anyway. If you have read this far I thank you, and I apologize, it kinda feels like a ramble now. But now you know the first part of our story, and I hope you will continue on with us to bring a new board game dynamic to the hobbies and games industry! Moral of the story. I loved making this game, more to come, Large corporations are old news, and a joke, and we hope you love our new card game Tyrannical as much as we do!
